Welcome to our website!
In the few months of the Aurora Community Watch's existence (since the meeting of members on 28 February 2013), we have seen a huge response from residents to the wave of crime experienced in the greater Durbanville area. Members are participating in volunteer patrols, acquiring 2-way radios to improve communication and connectivity to other neighbourhood watches, and in general, we are all much more vigilant in identifying and reacting to criminal activities.
Our website's launch is another step in communicating with our residents, making sure we are all connected so that we can share any relevant info instantly and to the full Aurora / Vergesig community.
Over the next few weeks and months, we will update the website regularly with the latest membership matters, member activities and relevant security tips. Be sure however to join the Aurora Community Watch's electronic database to be included in the most up to date and relevant email communications.
